Standard floating ball construction with double body sealings and antistatic blow out proof stem, trunnion mounted, double block and bleed, self-relieving seatrings, double piston effect seats, HVOF tungsten carbide metal seated, buttwelding or integrally flanged ends.

Design, dimensions and marking to API 6D, BS EN 17292 (BS 5351) and ANSI B16.34.

ISO 9001:2000 and PED 97/23/EC certified manufacturer of forged steel Gate, Globe and Check Valves up to NPS 4" and pressure class ANSI 4500lbs.

Standard body constructions as well as cryogenic, y-type, full penetration welded or pressure seal bonnets. buttwelding ends, NPT, integrally flanged, nipple or socketweld ends.
Design, dimensions and marking to API 600, API 602, BS EN 15761 (BS 5352), ANSI B16.34 and MSS SP-84.

Cryogenic Testing

The storage, transport or production of liquefied gases such as natural gas (LNG), nitrogen (N2) or Methane (CH4) requires valves with special bonnet extensions with a sufficient gas column to keep the stem packing exposed only to vapour, allowing the valves' functionality in these severe services. PJ Valves offer a range of austenitic stainless steel Cryogenic Gate, Globe, Check and Ball valves suitable for services down to -196°C (-320°F) in accordance with and tested to BS 6364 and Shell SPE 77/306.

Fire Safe Testing

PJ Valves offer a complete range of Fire Safe cast and forged steel Gate Globe, Check & Butterfly valves, Floating or Trunnion mounted ball & modular double block and bleed ball valves, soft or metal seated and Fire Safe certified in accordance with API 607, BS EN ISO 10497 and API 6FA witnessed by Lloyd's Register, RWTüV or Det Norske Veritas.

We are proud to exclusively represent Virgo Valves & Controls in the UK. Improving valve design to incorporate new customer specification demands or features is an on-going process at Virgo. Nearly 20 Design Engineerings are continuously working to innovate, refine and improve Virgo products. Equipped with modern software & design aids such as AutoCAD, I-Deas and Ansys where product design generation and verification is possible through Finite Element Analysis (FEA), a computer simulation technique. Final prototype is also checked through physical and functionality testing and field trials before being launched.
