Project - Bonga

Year - 2005
Project Information - First offshore deepwater project in Nigeria. The FPSO produces 225,000 barrels of oil per day.
Valve Range - Manual and actuated, all valve types. Most notable a requirement for some API 10k valves.

When PJ Valves became involved with this project, it was nearing completion. However, many valves were still required and the FPSO needed them urgently to ensure production could start on time. PJ Valves supplied in excess of 50 orders, constantly responding to the pressing delivery needs of the project. Almost all delivery times were below 10 weeks with most valves being supplied either from stock or accelerated production.

Project - Sangachal
End User - BP
Country - Azerbaijan
Year - 2007
Project Information - Still expanding, it is already one of the largest oil and gas terminals worldwide.
Valve Range - Manual and actuated valve requirements including Duplex, metal seated ball valves, complete with special testing requirements.
 
PJ Valves supplied all the valves for two of the last process packages to reach the project, for produced water treatment and guard filter packages. To avoid start up delays and with project schedules becoming even more essential as the orders progressed, PJV had to ensure that valves were manufactured to schedule, managing all aspects of production, testing and inspection to completion.

Project - Al Shaheen
End User - Mærsk
Country - Qatar
Year - 2007
Project Information - Production from the Al Shaheen field located in Block 5 commenced in 1994. Since then Maersk Oil Qatar and Qatar Petroleum have completed a number of major development phases.
Valve Range - Manual and actuated valves. There were a predominant number of Aluminium Bronze valves which needed to be supplied managing approved manufacturer lists.
 
PJ Valves supplied all valves within our range for the requirement of four new accommodation platforms. PJV managed project re-prioritisation and detailed documentation needs; the client summarised our input as essential to the projects positive completion.

Cryogenic Services
(e.g. LNG)

PJ Valves offers a complete range of valves suitable for cryogenic applications down to -196°C. Our designs fully comply with the requirements of Shell 77/306 and BS 6364, and have standard single piece stem extensions to reduce the number of possible leak paths and provide sufficient vapour space.

High Temperature Applications
(e.g. Hot Oil and Steam)

PJ Valves are able to offer a complete range of valves, including metal seated ball valves, suitable for high temperature applications in a large variety of materials such as CF8M, Chrome Moly, Inconel and Titanium which are most commonly used in service temperatures up to 788°C (1,450°F).

Sand and Abrasive Services
(e.g. Desanding processes and Produced Water Treatment)

PJ Valves offer special valves suitable for severe services where sand or other abrasive solids would normally damage valve internals. Metal seated ball valves can be used in these applications, however we are also able to supply non-contact rising stem metal seated ball valves with friction free operation and zero leakage, as is often preferred in this type of service.

Seawater Services

PJ Valves can offer valves in materials resistant to sulfide stress cracking, fully in compliance with NACE MR-0175 or NACE MR-0103, including high alloys suitable for hydrogen or extreme sour services with lethal H2S content.

Molecular Sieve

In addition to the above, PJ Valves has a valve solution for the most severe conditions such as fluctuating high temperature molecular sieve desorption or regeneration processes.
