What does PJ Valves do?

What does PJ Valves do?

The company was founded in 1976 and is led by a board of directors, each committed to the advancement of a complete supply service.

Dan Munro – Managing Director

Dan has been Managing Director of PJ Pipe and Valve Company, Ltd since 2001, and works to maintain the strong company ethos established by his father, Peter, after the company’s inception. Dan has spent time working in Italy and tours the world visiting our customers. His ability to understand and provide for the needs of PJ Valves’ clients and suppliers is enhanced by his previous experience at a leading management consultancy.

Chris Rosser – Marketing Director

Chris joined PJ Valves in 1979. His extensive industry experience enables him to initiate and maintain strong trust partnerships with clients which are fundamental to the success of our project valve supply. Chris continues to provide strong commercial and technical support at every stage of the project and is responsible for our strong reputation amongst our clients.

Steven Charles – Sales Director

Steven joined the company in 1989 and has an excellent understanding of the PJ Valves philosophy. He leads the project management and documentation teams through the enquiry and order management process to ensure that our project managers are able to deliver the items they promise, on time and to specification.

Colin Gordon – Non-Executive Chairman

Colin became PJ Valves’ Non-Executive Chairman in 2007 following an extensive management career. Previous to this, he was Chief Executive of Kenwood plc from 1997-2002, executing a turnaround on the company resulting in a trade sale. He joined Kenwood from International Distillers & Vintners, then the world’s largest wine and spirit company and a part of Grand Metropolitan (now Diageo). Positions he held throughout his twenty year involvement with the company were: UK Finance and Personnel Director, Chief Executive IDV and President IDV Europe and Group Strategy Director. Colin is currently a Non-Executive Director of the West Herts Hospital NHS Trust and a Governor of the University of Hertfordshire.
